Furthermore, some schools may require a higher level of English than the B2 level. The language requirement is mandatory for EU students, but they may not need a Tier 4 visa.

 

English is the language used to deliver courses in universities across the country. A sufficient understanding of the English language is required for a student to complete the courses and participate in classes while the teacher delivers a lecture. As a result, students must demonstrate their language skills by taking an English language test.
