Additional Financial Aid for Diploma in Adult Care

Adult Education Budget (AEB) Funding?

Applicants who are unemployed from the Great London Authority and earn less than £21,157.50 per year (before deductions) may be eligible for a fee waiver depending on their enrolled course. If you live outside the Greater London Authority, you must earn at least £17,374.50 per year.

Assessment

A health and social care assessment consists of observing your performance and answering written and oral questions regarding your performance in a health and social care setting. In addition to general work and personal statements, your portfolio and coursework will contain professional information, authentic reports, and witness testimony. 

Entry Requirements

You will be taught one day a week for 12 months as part of the course. AdditAlso, you don’t need to have any previous qualifications to apply. However, learners must work or volunteer on practical placements to gain experience and improve their skills and knowledge in a specific field. Anyone over 16 with good written and spoken English can apply.

Financial Eligibility

There are complete Level 3 courses that may be free of charge to those over the age of 19 who do not already possess an entire Level 3 or above qualification. In addition, AEB Funding may fund this course if you qualify for financial assistance.
