Fees & Fundings to Study in Ireland

The fees for international students to Study in Ireland are:

  • Undergraduate course starts from 6,000 – 12,000 £/year
  • Postgraduate/Master/Research courses course start from 6,150 – 15,000 £/year.
  • Private Universities start from  9000 – 35000 £ per year.

Ireland Admission and Visa Process Steps

After receiving the offer letter, there are a few points you should be aware of. Check the offer letter carefully for the student’s name, the offer’s expiration date, and the deadline for paying the fee.

Step 1 (Offer acceptance)

  • You must review the terms and conditions of the offer letter.
  • We suggest paying the deposit to accept the offer and hold the seat.
  • Once the student accepts the offer, send us the swift copy/ Transfermate/ Flywire receipt to share with the institutions.

Step 2

Please refer to the following for a detailed description of the visa process. In addition, please find attached sample documents for your reference. The following documents will be required to schedule an appointment with the VFS to apply for a visa.

  • Last three years’ sponsor income tax returns
  • It is preferred that the sponsor has liquid bank balances such as a six-month statement of a savings account (preferred), a fixed deposit, a life insurance policy (surrender value), or a provident fund for the first year.
  • For bachelor’s degrees, tuition fees for the second year may be paid in other liquid assets.
  • Applicants must demonstrate a living and accommodation expense of Euros 12000 annually.
  • It is necessary to submit the disbursement letter if the student has applied for an education loan.
  • Certificate of police clearance (from the Passport Office)
  • An affidavit of support
  • Insurance for medical care 

Step 3

  • A student must pay 50% of the tuition fee (without taking into account scholarships) if the tuition fee exceeds €12000, or €6000 if the tuition fee is less than €12000
  • For a successful visa application, it is highly recommended that the student pay 100% of their first-year tuition fee.
  • The college or university may provide you with a link to make the payment.

An example of a visa fee for an Indian student is as follows:

  • Charges for VFS services: INR 3518
  • Fee for a multi-entry visa: INR 9000
  • Courier services: INR 500
  • SMS services: INR 135
  • Check & Verify Services: INR 4195

Step 5

For visa filing, students must attend VFS in person. The following documents are required:

  • Summary of the online visa application
  • A receipt for payment of the visa fee
  • The receipt for the visa appointment
  • Receipt for tuition fee payment
  • Summary of financial information
  • NDVO form
  • Certificate of police clearance
  • Insurance for medical care
  • Visa SOP
  • Cover letter
  • Passport
  • Two passport-sized photographs (80% of the face should be visible, with a white background).
  • Documentation about the sanction and disbursement of an education loan (Property documents that provide collateral for the loan)

Sponsor documents include:

  • Statement of sponsors’ six-month savings accounts
  • Letter and receipt for fixed deposits (if applicable)
  • Letter of LIC surrender value (if applicable)
