CV writing tips for students
One of the essential things while applying for foreign universities is your Curriculum Vitae (CV). The document gives you a history of education, work and experiences. This blog will provide you with essential tips for writing or generating your CV so that it won't be a reason for you being denied an offer letter to any foreign university.
What should a CV contain?
Please remember that your CV should contain all the authentic information about yourself, so do not try copying from others or adding any unreliable extra details. First, start with your introduction in points. After that, give some brief information about yourself, including brief background. Following that, your CV should contain your work experience details like company details (name, location), designation, duties etc. The same goes with your education qualification, so keep your education details like institution name, address etc. and most importantly, mention your modules and percentage along with the pass-out year. Finally, include a minimum of two references' name in the CV. Reference can be your teacher/professor from your school/college or superior from your workplace. It is better if the references' names are the same as those in your letter of recommendation.
Points you should not miss out on:
- Introduction
- Profile/Objective
- Work Experience (if you have one)
- Education Qualification
