Keele University
Keele University is located on 600 acres of beautiful parkland, including large woods, lakes, and beautiful gardens. The 19th-century Keele Hall, designated as a Grade II building by English Heritage, serves as the estate's centrepiece. Keele University was established to encourage interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary studies. It was the first new university in the UK in the 20th century. Around 70% of students still pursue the Dual Honours degree, which Keele invented. There are other single-honours degrees and multi-disciplinary foundation year options. Ten thousand students representing more than 120 nations are enrolled at the university, and practically all undergrads can spend a semester studying abroad at one of the 80 partner institutions. Regarding student happiness, Keele is constantly among the top three.
Keele University for International Students
Keele University's specialised International Student Support Team organised the Meet & Greet service for new students starting from Manchester Airport and London Heathrow. Numerous activities are held to get international students acquainted with one another and educate them about other cultures. Before Welcome Week, there is a program called International Orientation that seeks to assist students in adjusting to life abroad. Pre-sessional English classes, which can continue up to 12 weeks before the start of the term, and a foundation year, which combines general studies with English language instruction, are two options available to international students.
