About Kyrgyzstan
Kyrgyzstan is officially known as the Kyrgyz Republic. Located in the eastern part of Central Asia, Kyrgyzstan is a beautiful landlocked country. Known as the 'Switzerland of Asia' due to its natural beauty and diversity of traditions, the Kyrgyz Republic borders Kazakhstan to the north, China to the southeast, and Tajikistan to the west. It was ruled by several dynasties until the nineteenth century but was invaded by foreigners after independence. As of the late 19th century, Kyrgyzstan became a part of Russia. The region was granted the status of a Soviet republic in 1936 after becoming an autonomous region of the Soviet Union in 1924. In August 1991, it emerged as an independent nation, and gradually, a democratic government was established. In 1993, a new constitution was passed. The country of about 2 lakh square kilometres has a population of about 6 million. The currency of the country is called – Som (KGS). The government is divided into seven provinces, consisting of several districts governed by a governor. The city of Bishkek is the capital and largest city in the country. Bishkek covers a total area of about 492 square miles. The second largest city is called Osh. The country plays a vital role in trade through the Silk Route.
Climate - In Kyrgyzstan, a mountainous country in Central Asia, the weather is continental, with cold winters, often frosty, and warm and sunny summers, sometimes scorchingly hot at low altitudes but more relaxed in the mountains.

Eligibility
- The Student must complete 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the MD course.
- The applicant with a science background should pass the higher secondary examination equivalent to 10 + 2, Higher Secondary Examination after 12 years of study.
- The Student should have scored at least 60% in the 12th standard examination.
- Good at English.
